The CAC’s outpatient clinic provides therapy for autistic people of all ages. They also offer family therapy and social skills training. Staff: Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with autistic children and adults and their families. Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience who specializes in counseling and therapy for kids and autistic adults. Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of counseling experience. Please note that these counselors may have waitlists because of high demand.

We also have Pre-Licensed Therapists in our clinic with openings.
Our pre-licensed therapists completed their master’s degree in counseling and completed counseling internships at the our clinic. They have graduated and are under the supervision of a licensed professional as they complete their required hours for licensure. They are not yet in-network with insurance companies. In the Ascending Scales music therapy program, music is utilized in a variety of evidence-based interventions to develop non-musical goals. These goals may be used to address communication, socialization, fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, attention span, behavior regulation, and emotional recognition and expression.  All interventions are individualized and based on ongoing assessments and evidence-based music therapy practices. Interventions may involve playing instruments, moving to music, actively listening, playing musical games, and/or writing songs.  Participants in the Ascending Scales music therapy program and their families will receive regular updates regarding progress toward goals, as well as interventions to practice at home in order to build on the skills addressed during the music therapy session.

Camelot Care Centers provides the following services:

  • Home-based Intensive Counseling: This is provided to families struggling with behavioral, emotional and psychological needs such as depression and anxiety, defiant/disruptive behaviors, and social skills building. Counseling usually involves multiple visits per week by the family counselor to the home.

  • Outpatient Therapy: Clinicians provide therapy designed to assist individuals, couples, parents, and families in dealing with the difficulties that are faced in daily life. Can help children who are on the Autism Spectrum who may need support with social skills training.

  • Alcohol/Drug Abuse and Trauma Treatment: Counselors help families work through issues related to alcohol and drug abuse or traumas.

  • Group Therapy: Therapists offer support for those who otherwise believe they are alone in their struggles. Group therapy counselors are trained in trauma, informed care, and mental health issues, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral treatment.

Centerstone has locations in Chattanooga and Cleveland TN. They offer services such as, medicine management, counseling, psychiatric care, for children and adults, as well as other services.  They offer outpatient therapy for children and adults. They have a psychiatric nurse practitioner who can prescribe psychiatric medication. Health Connect's Intensive In-Home Services provide trauma-informed mental health services to at-risk children, adolescents, and families, including those with significant behavior challenges. In-Home services can include, but are not limited to: crisis intervention and treatment, individual and family counseling, communication skills, case management activities, and coordination with other services. Outpatient Mental Health Services offer support and treatment to individuals who are experiencing mental health symptoms, including those with co-occurring disorders.   • Outpatient Mental Health Services for Children and Adults – These are provided for individuals with a mental health diagnosis who have significant impairment in functioning.   • Outpatient Therapy Services at Red Bank High School – Provides school-based mental health services at Red Bank High School. This is for children/youth residing in the Red Bank community. Family Focused Solutions provides counseling services to Tennessee's Families First participants. Through a strengths-based, 2 generational, and trauma informed approach, our five Masters level counselors empower clients for occupational, relational, and emotional success. Victoria Davidson specializes in play therapy to help children express what is troubling them when they are unable to do so verbally. Through play therapy, children can communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn a variety of ways to relate to others. Although beneficial to everyone, play therapy is especially appropriate for children ages 3 through 12. Children whose problems are related to life stressors, such as divorce, death, relocation, hospitalization, chronic illness, stressful experiences, physical or sexual abuse, domestic violence, and natural disasters benefit from play therapy.
